Luis Carlos Diaz founded the Law Offices of Luis C. Diaz, LLC in 2015 to serve the immigrant community and their families in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area. Through Luis’ leadership, the Law Offices of Luis C. Diaz, LLC has grown into an international law firm representing individuals and families throughout the United States and abroad.

Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, Mr. Diaz is a first generation Salvadoran-American dedicated to social justice and providing legal representation to those in need. Prior to founding the Law Offices of Luis C. Diaz, LLC, Mr. Diaz worked in private practice and has accumulated over 10 years of experience in representing individuals before EOIR, USCIS, the Department of State, and Maryland State Courts.

Mr. Diaz is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and an active member of the Maryland Bar and Maryland Hispanic Bar Association since 2012. In the past, Mr. Diaz has served on the Board of Directors of CARECEN in Washington, D.C. Mr. Diaz is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending his free time with his family.

Mr. Diaz is licensed to practice law in the State of Maryland and dedicates his practice to the Immigration & Nationality Act. Mr. Diaz graduated in 2012 from the University of Maryland School of Law and from Seton Hall University with a Double Major B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy in 2008.

Astrid Diaz

Astrid Diaz is an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of Luis C. Diaz, LLC.

Astrid represents individuals in immigration proceedings before immigration agencies, focusing on removal defense as well as affirmative benefits. Astrid also represents parents and guardians with minors in custody cases in Maryland and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status before USCIS. She is deeply committed to immigrant and racial justice through her legal advocacy.

Astrid is a 2022 graduate of Howard University School of Law and admitted to practice in the State of Maryland. In law school, Astrid interned with Ayuda and Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project (ASAP). She earned a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and American Studies with a minor in U.S. Latinx Studies from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2016. She is a member of Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Incorporada.

Astrid is of Nicaraguan and Salvadoran descent. In her free time, she enjoys all things music-related, whether it's making playlists, collecting records, or attending live shows.
